United World College (UWC) schools, colleges and programmes deliver a challenging and transformative educational experience to a diverse cross section of students, inspiring them to create a more peaceful and sustainable future.

The National Committee of Great Britain is responsible for selecting students aged 16 to 18 from the UK to attend United World Colleges.

We also support these students while at their colleges, and raise awareness of UWC in the UK.

Final UWC Open Day : 2018

Ahead of the end-October deadline for applications to all 17 of the United World Colleges, we still have one last Open Day for prospective students and others interested in a UWC education - focused on 2019 entry - in Edinburgh!  We had a great day in London on Sunday (October 14th) ... thank you all for coming.

Last location:

Central Library, Edinburgh
Date: Saturday, 20th October 2018
Time: 1:30 - 3:30 pm

This event is for anyone interested in applying to any of the colleges, or to learn about the UWC movement in general. It offers a chance to hear up to date information about a UWC education, talks from alumni about their experiences at different colleges including how the mission continues to impact their lives after graduation. Alumni from the different colleges and parents will be available to chat about their experience.  And if you can't make it to Edinburgh, you should be able to find everything you will need to apply here.  Do get in touch via the "contact" link opposite if you need help, or have questions that can't be answered on www.uwcgb.org (i.e. here!).  Good luck!

Applications for 2019 are now OPEN!

For UK citizens wherever in the world you might be, click here for more information. Applications close at the end of October 2018.
