United World College (UWC) schools, colleges and programmes deliver a challenging and transformative educational experience to a diverse cross section of students, inspiring them to create a more peaceful and sustainable future.

The National Committee of Great Britain is responsible for selecting students aged 16 to 18 from the UK to attend United World Colleges.

We also support these students while at their colleges, and raise awareness of UWC in the UK.

What's new?

UWC GB needs you to help deliver its plans in 2019 and beyond!  Four posts for volunteers to join the GB National Committee.

The National Committee is made up of a group of volunteers who work to support the United World Colleges in this country.  We are currently keen to recruit four new volunteer trustees to help lead our work on promoting the UWC Movement, finding and selecting great students and enabling our community of alumni, their families, and friends of UWC, to keep in touch and do great things.  Please find the details here: National Committee Volunteer Trustees: Openings in 2019

2019 Selections:  Applicants through the GB National Committee will be hearing if they have been successful over the coming weeks.

Applications for places starting in 2020:  Planning is already underway to ensure we are ready to offer places for 2020 entry to UWCs around the World.  Please watch this space as we prepare to open applications, this Summer 2019.

Thank you.
